BelgradeSEO is this week and I will speak about LLM Automation for SEO.

As usual my latest course is here:

Where We Left The Last Times

In case you missed the previous discussions, I've introduced my content system here.

You can read my article on setting up Hermes Agent on a VPS too to get more context.

The gist is that you create a digital personal assistant, available 24/7, that keeps learning.

It helps me with managing and preparing content but doesn't actually write my content lol don't even worry

Update On The Agent

From the last time I showed you, I simply kept chatting and interacting with the agent.

Now I have 3 main "scheduled automations":

  1. Checking Google documentation for tools I use and report changes
  2. Checking my DeepSeek balance
  3. weekly spend reporting (shown in the next section)

An example of point 1 as follows:

This allows me to be updated in almost real time about many things.

I have also implemented some rudimentary forms of Reddit, X and LinkedIn scraping.

You would be surprised to know Hermes now has a skill to read Reddit without any API but... it's quite limited.

For the rest I was recently testing Apify because it looks like it covers most of my needs with the free tiers.

Other cool stuff for SEO and Google is managed with my dear DataForSEO API.

Cost Management

This is an estimate of my costs for the last week:

The key is to get a cache hit that is as high as possible, ideally above 98%.

As you can see, it's not that much for what I consumed. It's easy to talk about AI being expensive... without ever testing it lol

This only considers the model, not the VPS costs or single APIs, like DataForSEO!

Still peanuts lol

With Chinese models like DeepSeek, you can minimize your spend and maximized your quality.

I expect costs to raise once I start heavily using my agent and boost it further.

So far I am impressed with the results and the output

The real return is in terms of growth for me as a content creator which leads to sales after some months (my sales cycle).

What The Agent Does NOT Do

I know that the average idea of AI is warped and many think you automate it all and go to the beach.

Unfortunately I still have quite some manual work πŸ’€

Stuff like:

  • Actually write the content (like this newsletter you are reading)
  • Chatting and instructing AI
  • Coordinating the real output
  • Providing the right data and output
  • Produce ready-to-publish visuals

Unsupervised AI just doesn't work, unlike many delusional videos you watch on YouTube.

So AI is, as I always claim, a capacity multiplier. It will mostly benefit people who are already skilled and not novices.

What's actually good though is that it's a great starting point to learn... if you already have some foundations.

Content writers fret NOT, your job isn't doomed but your skillset and operations likely are.

The Skills

Hermes Agent has a LOT of skills you can get by default but the cool thing about the tool is that it learns automatically.

This means my agent knows more things than last week and will keep growing even more.

Hermes Agent lets you see stuff like this in its dashboard:

I do have a lot of skills, mostly for graphics, writing and scraping.

After all these are the most important activities for me!

You may want to review them after a while because you end up having too many. This for now isn't a big issue!

What I Will Do Next

The endgame here is to expand my content creation business and of course, improve in the process.

I've always been thinking about making the agent more proactive while I sleep:

  • hunting for sources
  • formulating ideas and proposals
  • periodical content updates I could implement

Some help with updating my beautiful products wouldn't hurt either.

I am currently spending quite some time on scraping Reddit, X and LinkedIn without getting caught :3

These 2 platforms have the most valuable input for me because they have great conversations... and content.

It's a personal assistant so if you benefit from one, excellent. You will find plenty of use cases.

If what you do doesn't require coordination or meaningful effort, then this solution here is useless.
