Use Data Or Be Used By Data!β The December 27 issue of Seotistics is here for you! |
2024 is coming and I want to do a quick recap of the best content/resources I produced and shared this year. Plans for next year include more free resources and use cases for Analytics, so stay tuned! P.S. Enjoy your holidays and don't forget to rest a little bit! π₯³π₯³π₯³ Please move this email to your Primary inbox or reply to it. This is to prevent Seotistics goes into spam by accident. Gmail users can read this tutorial to do it. βRead this in your browserβ π Seotistics WebsiteSeotistics isn't only a newsletter but also a website and I have only published 2 articles as of now.
I will publish at least 5 more in January 2024, so stay tuned! As a true acolyte of Content Distribution & Repurposing, you may notice how some content is similar (or the same) across multiple channels. I sometimes write more on LinkedIn or Twitter depending on the nature of the topic (and my spare time). P.S. I have a special surprise for all the Seotistics subs... coming soon! 𧡠The Best Twitter ThreadsThese are my top hitters or most popular threads on Twitter that are still relevant in today's search landscape:
All of them will be converted into articles later on! I also briefly talked about tactics that can also work in SEO, here they are:
In practice, you should always try to approach problems originally, especially in hyper-competitive markets. If you find a blue ocean, good for you because you will often see that every niche already has some players in it... so you need something else to win the game. π The Best LinkedIn Posts/CarouselsI am getting more active on LinkedIn once again but overall I am satisfied with the content I produced this year. The main takeaways are that data isn't objective and you should know how to properly analyze to avoid SEO issues.
As you can see, there are many use cases for SEO data and a lot of room for discussions about big projects. I think that in 2024 we will get to play more with BigQuery and more complex solutions as businesses understand what they are missing out. Even so, please keep in mind that changes rarely happen radically so you will still see the same mistakes and errors... π₯ The Best Seotistics Newsletter IssuesYou can read all the past Seotistics issues at this link but in case you want to discover or review the most important:
Most of this content is focused on bringing order and working on well-defined projects. Decision-making is also a core element in SEO and that's why I always recommend going beyond simple coding. SEO is getting harder and harder and knowing what to do and when to do it are crucial. I wouldn't say that SEO is super different from years ago because the main concepts are always the same... What's currently missing is Content Management. In the last 2 years, I've noticed a bigger interest in Content Distribution & Repurposing but not for Content Ops/Management. If you want to maintain and/or start big projects, you must have this knowledge. P.S. They are all good and the Seotistics archive can be found here. π Interviews / Podcasts / Conferences2023 was a great year in terms of speaking and I want to show you my contributions to the community. I also had the pleasure to be featured in the "SEO in 2024" book by Majestic!
I only attended 3 SEO Conferences and spoke at 2, the topic was always Content Auditing. π€ SEO ResolutionsEveryone should have some resolutions for 2024, especially as an SEO professional. Google has messed up with all those updates so this is the perfect chance to explore new channels and diversify your skillset. Personally, this is what I want to (generally) achieve:
This is a pretty generic and vague list, you should have specific numbers and milestones in your actual list! In my very personal list, I am much more specific and go over some potential steps I can take from Jan 2024... π₯ Join Our CommunityOur Discord community offers a small place where we can talk business and SEO. If you hate all the noise of social media, then this place is for you.
π Analytics For SEO Ebook (v6)This ebook is aimed at SEOs or Business Owners who want to explore the combination of SEO and Analytics.
